Affordable Christmas is right around the corner!

The mission of Affordable Christmas is to give families of our partnerships the opportunity to provide Christmas gifts in a way that preserves dignity and promotes empowerment. Every year our community donates thousands of gifts that are available for purchase by families from our partner organizations at 1/10th of the original purchase price. Affordable Christmas will be on Saturday, December 8 from 8 am - 1 pm.

GIVE

Purchase and donate new, unwrapped toys for children ages birth to 17. We are no longer accepting donations of coats, gloves, hats, and scarves. We also accept financial donations and gift cards. Donations may be dropped off at any of our Sunday Services (Midtown and Johnson County) beginning 11/11, or dropped off directly at our building from Monday-Friday, 9 am – 4 pm until December 7. For gift ideas, check out our Amazon Wish List (you can order gifts directly from Amazon as well!) or download a PDF wish list here.

Teenage boy and girl gifts are typically high need.

SET UP NIGHT

We will gather on Tuesday, 12/4 at 7 pm to get everything ready to go for Affordable Christmas. This is a great way to serve if you can't make it to the event. Sign up here.

Contact acinfo@redeemerkansascity.org with any questions. For donations, mail to our mailing address at P.O. Box 32322, Kansas City, MO 64171.

FAQ

Can families from non-partner organizations participate in shopping at Affordable Christmas?

At this time we're only able to include families who are a part of Redeemer or our partner organizations.

How does Redeemer use the money from the AC gift sales?

Typically, event costs exceed any revenues from the gift sales. In the event of a surplus, it will be re-invested into the next year's event or given away to one of our partner organizations.

Can companies give monetary donations?

Yes! Please make checks payable to “Redeemer Fellowship” with ‘Affordable Christmas’ in the memo.

How do individuals or companies receive a tax-deduction form?

Please contact us to let us know you are in need of a form and we will gladly help you with it.

We exist to cultivate communities of transformed disciples who live for the glory of God and the good of the city.
