Mid-Week Prayer Gatherings Open Next Week!

Jun 12, 2020

Redeemer Family—

We’re excited to announce that beginning next week, we are opening our mid-week Prayer Gatherings up to the public!

These gatherings take place at Redeemer Midtown on Mondays and Wednesdays at 12 pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 am.

As we said in the Member Meeting, there would be no way for us to completely eliminate the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Particularly in an inside space, there will always be a risk of transmission.

With that said, here is what we are doing to to provide a safer environment for these prayer gatherings.

1) Current KCMO restrictions would allow for us to have up to 300 people in the Sanctuary, but for now we will be limiting capacity to 150.

2) If you are currently experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, or have recently been exposed to someone with the virus, please do not attend: you may continue to join us online for our live-stream.

3) We encourage social distancing inside our building. With a room the size of Redeemer Midtown’s Sanctuary, there will be plenty of space for you to spread out.

4) We are keeping our building nice and clean, and sanitizing common surfaces frequently. In addition, we will have hand sanitizer available, as well as masks for any who would like one to wear while in our building.

Our Sunday evening Pursuit Services are not yet open to the public, though we hope to open those up after Kansas City transitions to the next phase of reopening (currently projected for July 6).

Finally, in the next several weeks, we will post further information about our plans to resume Sunday Gatherings. Stay tuned!

Until then, we hope to see you at a Prayer Gathering soon!
