• We are rebuilding spiritually — as God has given us a vision for the next season of what type of church he is calling us to be. Toward this end we have reoriented a major part of our church toward prayer and worship, and are preaching through Chronicles as a portrait of a community seeking to rebuild around submission to the King and rightly ordered worship of our God.

We are rebuilding structurally — as we have reorganized and restructured many aspects of our church’s life (think Sunday Schools, family-integrated worship, outreach, prayer meetings, etc.). This is an attempt to structure our resources and labors toward focus in ways that best facilitate growth toward the vision the Lord has put before us.

But we are also sensing the need to rebuild physically — as we have made some of these changes, and sense the ways that the Lord is moving in our midst, we sense that this is a dynamic opportunity to leverage our physical spaces (our building) toward better facilitating our current and future needs.

  • We are introducing a season where we are launching a capital campaign to make some much-needed changes to our space, as well as provide some necessary maintenance on this glorious building we have been given. This will be a 12-18 month process that consists of several phases.

The Lord has been working in this physical space for over a century — and Lord willing he will continue to work in ways that faithful groups of people decades down the road will have to make much-needed changes, updates, and upkeep to this wonderful stewardship of a physical house that God has given us.

Yet, this is our moment to steward what God has put before us. In doing so, we hope to reimagine many of the spaces in our building to help us more faithfully embody and facilitate our values.
